Recommend a doctor to Locumlink who is not currently registered, and our exclusive recommendation bonus scheme will pay you a bonus of 2.5% of every payment we make to your doctor without affecting your doctor’s salary.

How does it work?

If you recommend a doctor to Locumlink who is looking to work as a part or full time Locum we will pay you a bonus of 2.5% of everything we pay to that doctor. This will not affect the salary we pay your doctor. Your payment is funded from our commission we get from the client. We will continue to pay you the recommendation bonus for one calendar year from the date the recommended locum starts their first job. It’s that simple.

Once you set up your Business Partner account you’ll have access to a web based control panel that will show you everything you need to know about your payments both past and future. You will be able to see every time your doctor applies for a job and whether or not they were successful. You will always be able to see the amount of money due to you by the end of each month.

We have developed a simple to use check tool that allows you to see if your doctor is currently registered with us. All you need to do is enter their medical council registration number and you will get an immediate response telling you if they are registered or not.

Unlimited opportunity

This fantastic opportunity allows you to supplement your monthly income. There is no limit to the number of locums you can recommend, and no limits to the monthly bonus sums we can pay out. Therefore, if you recommend ten consultants who work on a full-time basis, you could be receiving a bonus cheque of up to €7000 per month without affecting your doctor’s salary.

Do I have to invoice Locumlink for my bonus payment?

No. Based on the information you provide to us at registration we will raise an invoice on your behalf for the total amount due and process your payment. So you have nothing to worry about.

How will you receive your bonus?

You will receive your monthly bonus payments directly into your bank account at the end of each month. Once the client has paid the bill we have issued for the work your locum doctor has completed, your bonus payment will be processed.

When can my doctor start working.

Once you send us the details of the doctor you recommend our Registrations Department will complete the registration process with your doctor. Upon completion of that process our Sales Consultants will immediately start looking for work that suits your doctors experience and work preference. There is a large demand for locum doctors throughout the UK and Ireland.


Locumlink will only pay commission for doctors that are not currently registered with our agency. All recommended doctors will be screened by our Registrations Department and will not be eligible to work until approved and we receive a complete CV with supporting documentation. Other terms do apply.
